Join Our Team as a Physician Compensation Specialist
About Us:
- Cone Health Medical Group HeartCare at Northline is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Physician Compensation Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting CHMG physician-related activities and ensuring accurate financial decision-making.
Overview:
- The Physician Compensation Specialist is responsible for tasks such as month-end close, budgeting, productivity reporting, and compensation and payroll processing. Additionally, you will handle managerial finance needs and provide benefit enrollment support.
Responsibilities:
- Complete reconciliations for physician-related activities and assist with non-physician financial tasks as required.
- Participate in special projects related to changes in physician compensation and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Administer select physician CME activities and license renewals.
- Support the annual budget process by preparing summaries and schedules.
- Oversee CHMG physician compensation activities, including compensation plan updates and benefit enrollment.
- Work closely with physicians, Directors, CFO, and other CHMG Senior Leadership on physician-related matters.
- Maintain a strong understanding of financial computer systems and act as a resource for others.
- Assist in the monthly financial close process by preparing necessary documentation and reviewing variances to ensure accurate financial statements.
Qualifications:
Education:
Required:
- HS degree or equivalent, and a minimum of 15 credit hours in accounting or a related field.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
Required:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Preferred:
- Experience in the hospital/healthcare industry.
Licensure/Certification:
Required
