- Promptly meet and greet service customers in a friendly, welcoming and courteous manner
- Scheduling service work
- Explain and implement repair options
- Coordinate activities to ensure repair work in fixed during the first visit and in a timely manner
- Identify ways to improve Customer Service and Service Operations
- Provide accurate estimates for all services and repair recommended
- Offer diagnostic services or repairs to satisfy customer's concerns
- Handle minor customer complaints with courteous, nurturing and tactful manner
- Follow up with Customers regarding upcoming service.
- Attend managers' meetings as requested
- Meet with Dealer/Fixed Operations Manager at lease once a month to review current Service Department Performance
- Maintain reporting systems required by General Management and Mercedes-Benz
- Maintain up-to-date Comeback Log, Technician Production and Efficiency Log.
- Three years of experience in an auto repair facility
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient knowledge of dealership computer systems
- Must have valid in-state driver's license and have/maintain an acceptable, safe driving record and habits in order to drive customer and demonstration vehicles
- Must be insurable
