    Quality Engineer Family owned Hammon Plating has been in business since 1969.

    As a leader and critical supplier in the cleaning and plating industry, we have set the standard with premium processes and procedures to support semi-conductor, biotech, solar and a variety of other industries.

    Full-time, M-FPosition SummaryThe Quality Engineer will review and interpret industry and customer specifications, in terms of customer quality and processing requirements.

    This role will ensure that standards are effectively integrated into our quality control system, as part of our value-added service to our customers.

    This role will plan, develop, implement, and direct actions concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards and systems for processes, materials, and products.

    This role will also be responsible for conducting failure investigations, determining, and reviewing root causes of failures in order to initiate and orchestrate corrective actions.

    Familiarity with plating/coating industry a plus, but not mandatory. Job DescriptionAbility to identify root cause of nonconforming product or processesDevelop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of products and processesAbility to use mechanical measurement devices to ensure product accuracyReview industry and customer specifications to ensure compliance standardsPerform analysis of inaccuracies to develop systematic changes to compliance standardsServe as point of contact for quality resolution issuesDevelop sampling procedures and develop forms and instructions to record, evaluate, and report quality control dataDirect and provide support and oversight to others involved in calibration, lot acceptance, and periodic testingDevelop and maintain QMS documentationDevelop and initiate continuous process improvement per all ISO safety procedures and protocolsGenerate Quality Assurance reports, as necessaryRequirementsWork well under pressureExcellent communication skillsDetail-oriented and organizedEmployee BenefitsManagement training opportunitiesGenerous employee compensation & benefits packagesSignificant 401K profit-sharing program
