    Title:
    Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Pipeline)

    Location:
    San Antonio, TX (Remote, but must be able to travel onsite for the first two weeks)

    Clearance:
    Top Secret (SCI eligible)

    About this role:

    Rackner is seeking a DevSecOps (Pipeline) SME to work in cooperation with the Pipeline Services Product Line Manager and the UP Infrastructure Lead Engineer to develop an overall architecture and implementation plan for CI/CD pipelines compatible with the DoD CIO DevSecOps Reference Design and the UP cATO.Works with stakeholders and customers to achieve a CtF for software built by tenant application teams.


    We are seeking professionals with:
    BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree or industry experience equivalent7+ years; contributing on a technical team for a software or IT project: 3 years; Development of DevSecOps CI/CD PipelinesCreating CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI and GitLab Runners or equivalent technologiesDevOps and Platform EngineeringAutomation of build tools for modern programming languagesAutomated Tests implemented via pipelinesPackage managers: Maven/Gradle/PyPi/npmCybersecurity vulnerability scanning (SAST and DAST)

    Microservice ArchitecturesNIST Risk Management Framework3 years; providing technical guidance to junior team members2 years; leading a technical team on a software or IT project with proven performanceWhat will make you successful:

    Work with the Cybersecurity team by implementing industry best practices for system hardening and configuration managementUse automation best practices, such as IaC and GitOps, for repeatability and fast provisioning of environmentsThe DevSecOps architecture should function in highly classified systemsWork closely with development teams to provide onboarding supportEnsure platform and networks are compliant with DoD policiesNice to have:M.S.
