    Description
    Software Resources has a contract job opportunity for a Portfolio Manager/Project Controller with a major corporation in Orlando, FL. On-site 4 days per week.
    This role involves resource management, finance management, and portfolio management responsibilities on a daily basis. Interfacing with Corp Finance and Enterprise Tech teams for financial reporting and analysis, analyzing trends, providing recommendations, and tracking planned resources. Additionally, integrating with CSP Portfolio and business performance teams for updates.

    Must Have Skills:
    • Expert level Excel- pivots etc,
    • Power BI/Analysis tools- Creating reports and utilizing templates
    • Smartsheets
    Budget handling experience with large multi-million dollar projects and at least a $60 million budget.

    Description:

    This position is part of the Core Systems & Platforms team within Enterprise Technology, focusing on designing, building, integrating, and deploying core business applications and platforms. Responsible for driving Portfolio and Program health insights, collaborating with development teams, and optimizing financial reporting tools and processes.

    What You'll Do:
    Partner and support Portfolio and Project level accountability, anticipate risks and opportunities, track financials, plan resource allocation, understand technology and business aspects, prioritize decision-making, support accurate portfolio inputs, report monthly actuals, and provide deliverables for finance achievements.

    Basic Qualifications:
    3+ years experience in portfolio & product management, project management, financial analysis, and technology. Minimum 5 years of Project Controller or Financial Analyst experience in managing project controls and financial reporting. Proficiency in Excel and Smartsheets, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Project management skills, experience with Project Portfolio Management software.

    Education:
    Bachelors in finance, Accounting, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
