    HiFyve is hiring for a Structural Engineer 3 in Los Alamos, NM
    Day Shift
    Full Benefits Package
    $119,200 - $201,100


    Details:
    Support the facility by renovating rooms, modifying buildings and structural members, and developing new structures within and around the facility
    Install equipment on housekeeping pads or skids with the use of post-installed anchors
    Have the opportunity to design crane girders and crane support structures, canopies, equipment support stands, piping/conduit supports, and concrete slabs
    Work with colleagues in a team setting to complete full-system design solutions


    Job Requirements:
    Expert knowledge of new and existing non-reactor facility structural engineering systems, engineering methods, and CAD engineering tools to solve operations-based engineering problems
    Structural analysis experience
    Advanced knowledge of engineering work, planning, control methods
    Advanced knowledge of engineering maintenance techniques and construction methodologies. Extensive knowledge of relevant Laboratory procedures, standards and guides.
    Advanced knowledge of industry, regulatory, national, and Department of Energy codes


    Training/Certifications:
    Current registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)


    Education:
    Bachelors Degree in Engineering, 6 years of related work experience.


    Desired Qualifications:
    Demonstrated knowledge of DOE standards
    Advanced knowledge in Water Resources Engineering
    Professional Engineering certification


    MUST:
    Must be willing to submit to a drug screen, background check and obtain clearance which normally requires US Citizenship
