Duties:

As a
Program Manager (Deputy Associate Director - Quality), you will:

  • Develop and document the Bureau's Quality Policy and Objectives clearly identifying the expected characteristics of the end state system.
  • Develop and document objectives which, when accomplished, will result in attaining the Bureau's Quality System Vision.
  • Analyze FEVs feedback and supports the development of both Office level and Directorate level engagement plans.
  • Serve as the Management Representative to the BEP Quality Management System (QMS), leads BEP's product quality assurance and improvement programs, and assure the Quality management System is maintained and continuously improved in accordance with ISO9001 standards as well as provide oversight of QMS and general document and data controls including providing for timely reviews and edits of quality documents.
  • Lead Bureau Quality Assurance teams and initiatives resulting from audit reviews, management reviews, quality meetings, customer feedback, user feedback, supplier performance, and organizationwide programs to continuously improve processes, procedures, practices, and programs to transform the organization from a quality inspection to quality assurance.

Qualifications:

For the
GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the
GS-14 grade level in the Federal service
.

Specialized experience includes experience**:


  • Leading the overall direction of a quality assurance program;
    AND:
  • Working with external stakeholders regarding quality issues and program initiatives;
    AND:
  • Developing policies and preparing official reports.
