    Project Coordinator

    Bellaire, TX

    Our client, a fast-growing company in Bellaire, TX is hiring for a Project Coordinator. The company designs, fabricates, installs and services critical infrastructure protection devices into a broad and growing geography.

    Position Summary

    • Reports to the Director of Operations. This is an ideal position for an individual who enjoys a dynamic working environment.
    • Responsible for general project management and coordination from award through fabrication, delivery and close out.
    • Serves as the main point of contact for general questions related to project status, history and schedule.
    • Responsible for the day-to-day management of workflow management and communication system.
    • The ideal candidate will be customer service orientated, have good communication skills, be organized, comfortable with logistics and scheduling, and adept at working with a variety of parties.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • General project coordination, tracking and logistics support
    • Acts as primary administrator of our Workflow Management System (WMS)
    • Ensures established controls are met and followed through project lifecycle
    • Monitors project progress and address issues or potential delays
    • Serve as the subject matter expert for the WMS
    • Ensures project initiation data is complete, properly entered and maintained
    • Supports the executive team with clean, project and summary level reporting
    • Supports the Service group with scheduling and service request coordination
    • Assists team with project close out, releases, warranty and maintenance documentation
    • Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor in all communications

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or equivalent
    • Experience in Project Management
    • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
    • Must have solid computer and general application skills
    • Logistics and scheduling experience
    • Strong customer service and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage and track many projects concurrently
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
