- Overseeing Production Operations: Supervise all activities in the area department, ensuring efficient and high-quality production for cosmetic pencils, including color accuracy and consistency.
- Team Management: Lead, train, and manage a team of technicians and operators. Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure team productivity and effectiveness.
- Quality Control: Implement stringent quality control measures. Regularly inspect products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve print processes and techniques. Implement innovative solutions to enhance print quality and efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all machinery and equipment are well-maintained and serviced regularly to avoid downtime and ensure uninterrupted production.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of supplies, such as inks, paint, parts, and ensuring adequate stock levels to meet production demands.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations. Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Liaising with Other Departments: Work closely with the design and production teams to understand their printing needs and provide technical advice.
- Budget Management: Manage the department's budget, including cost control and procurement of supplies.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on departmental performance, challenges, and achievements for senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a production environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of operational techniques and machinery, particularly related to pencils and/or small products.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
