- Plan, organize and direct the operational functions of the facility as they relate to managed care.
- Develop, interpret and implement policies and procedures to create and maintain an effective managed care program with maximum reimbursement rates
- Manage staff for optimum performance
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 3+ years of experience in Healthcare setting
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of Payer / Insurance company practices
- Experience in the negotiation and management of Managed Care contracts
- Knowledge of state and regulatory HMO guidelines.
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access)
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
