The Position
We are looking for a responsible accountant to join our team in Cologne starting in March 2023.


We value individuals who have the ability to anticipate, are independent, creative, and good team players, highly professional, and have a warm heart.


Responsibilities

  • Filing, incoming mail, general administrative tasks, and smooth organization of the preparatory accounting for several companies
  • Contract management, including invoice processing using the CRM system
  • Interface with management for monthly/quarterly planning and controlling
The preparatory accounting for handover to the tax consultant includes:

  • Accounting and document management
  • Monitoring of incoming and outgoing payments, including dunning
  • Support in the preparation of payroll and salary statements, annual financial statements, as well as VAT returns and tax declarations

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training
  • Ideally, you have experience with DATEV and common banking software
  • Tax knowledge (basic knowledge of VAT, among others)
  • Good IT knowledge or interest in the digitalization of business processes
  • Proficient
