With over 40 years of experience in payroll services, we are now expanding our portfolio to include Human Capital Management software in Germany.

As part of Paychex Inc., we currently serve over 6,000 customers in Germany and have a team of over 200 employees in Hamburg, Berlin, and Dresden.


We are currently seeking a dedicated
Financial Controller (f/m/d) to join our team immediately (all over Germany, preferably in Hamburg).


Your Diverse Responsibilities


As a controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounting and business reporting in Germany, as well as taking on various development tasks.

You will be a part of our German Finance team, working closely with 7 other skilled and competent colleagues to support our German organization and customers.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our European office in Denmark. You will report to the Accounting Manager in Germany and the Senior Controller in Denmark.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reconciliation tasks during monthend closing in Germany
  • Preparation of annual accounts and statutory audits in Germany
  • Implementation of internal controls within the German organization
  • Monthly reporting to management and the parent company in the US
  • Coordination with Paychex USA group finance
  • Optimization of finance processes in Germany in collaboration with the German Accounting Manager and colleagues in the US

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
