- Review inspection reports for potential issues
- Conduct shipments inspections on the dock
- Verify accuracy of BOL and billing descriptions
- Gather shipment information and commodity characteristics
- Research commodity information using NMFC
- Issue document corrections based on NMFC provisions
- Upload documents/pictures for review
- Maintain correction activity reports
- 4 years of work or military experience
- Ability to document classification corrections
- Microsoft Suite knowledge
- Effective internet research skills
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of NMFC provisions
- Weights and inspections experience
- Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry knowledge
- Ability to lift objects of varying weights
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Various physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and kneeling
