    Compensation: $25.37 to $33.42 per hour. Exact pay will be based on your experience and skill level.

    Your Role as Freight Classification Specialist Lead

    • Review inspection reports and identify issues
    • Conduct inspections using handheld devices
    • Verify accuracy of billing descriptions
    • Collect shipment information and verify commodity details
    • Research commodity data using NMFC
    • Make necessary document corrections
    • Manage document uploads for review
    • Track corrections and revenue recovery

    Qualifications for Success at XPO

    Minimum requirements:

    • 4 years of relevant experience
    • Ability to communicate classification corrections clearly
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite
    • Proficient internet research skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Flexible schedule availability

    Preferred qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Knowledge of NMFC regulations
    • Experience with weights and inspections
    • Background in Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
    • Extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking
    • Perform various physical tasks
