The district of Emsland, formed on August 1st from the districts of Aschendorf-Hümmling, Meppen and Lingen, covers an area of 2,880 km2 from the North Rhine-Westphalian border near Rheine to the East Frisian border near Papenburg.

It is the largest district in Lower Saxony in terms of area, one of the largest in the Federal Republic of Germany, and overall larger than the state of Saarland.

The district of Emsland is currently seeking a full-time Sachbearbeitung (m/w/d) for Education Monitoring and Statistics for the Department of Regional Development in the Department of Economics and Regional Development.


Responsibilities:
Data research, collection, analysis and maintenance Targeted data preparation for presentation in working groups and committees Creation of municipal education reports Establishment of an analog-digital education portal Preparation of statistical publications Close cooperation with the Education Management and Education Coordination departments Your profile: Completed studies in the fields of social/educational sciences, geography, economics or another field with a quantitative focus Excellent knowledge of quantitative methods in empirical social/educational research Outstanding skills in interpreting, preparing and presenting complex data Very good knowledge of data processing programs and data analysis As half of the position is assigned to the education monitoring of the educational region of the district of Emsland, relevant professional experience in the field of education as well as previous knowledge in the field of public administration are desirable High self-initiative,
