    We are looking for a Contract Specialist to provide full-lifecycle acquisition support.

    • Position Type: Full time, W2 salaried plus benefits
    • Location: Remote

    Duties

    • Requirement Document Development: Team with customers in the development of a full requirement package by crafting all the requirement package documents or reviewing documents if pre-drafted by the customer to ensure language, context, and format is consistent with agency and federal acquisition style and regulations. The types of documents required may include, but are not limited to, the following: SOW, PWS, IGCE, market research reports, RFIs, Justification and Approvals, Evaluation Criteria, Service Level Agreements.
    • Post-Award Documents Development: Team with customers in the development of a full modification package by crafting all the modification package documents or reviewing documents.
    • Assist with all steps and modification preparation for the closeout of contracts.
    • Assist in the preparation and submittal of interagency documents.
    • Monitor and answer acquisition and process questions via the PMO Microsoft Outlook inbox.
    • Ensure that DFC contracts are set up in PRISM with the correct alerts to email the customer when a contract is due for an option.
    • Create and keep an active repository of COR appointments.
    • Track invoice status.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of four (4) years of military and/or civilian federal contracting experience with FAR Part 12 acquisitions (Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services)
    • Experience with both pre-award and post-award federal contracting requirements (i.e., cradle to grave)
    • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, with an emphasis on the ability to grasp difficult concepts and translate them into written requirements documents (e.g., SOW, PWS, SOO)
    • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Customer service oriented
    • Team player, with ability to work independently.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Previous or current FAC-C Level II (or higher), DAWIA Level II (or higher), or FAC-C Professional certification
    • NCMA Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) designation
    • Advanced proficiency using PRISM.
    • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
    • Experience drafting requirements documents for IT procurements, as well as experience and understanding of the federal IT procurement process, rules, and regulations.
    • Experience working with federal program offices to generate requirements documents to support the acquisition process, typically gained as a COR, Contract Specialist, or federal support contractor.
    • Experience supporting other federal agencies involved in development finance such as MCC.
    • Experience working in or supporting agencies on the small agency council.
