    Job Description

    Located on a hillside overlooking the valley, we are a 123-bed, acute-care hospital, primary stroke center, and a cardiac heart surgery hospital. We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services.

    Experience Required:

    Degree (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate) in a health-related field

    5 years' experience in QA/PI hospital management experience

    Registered Professional Nurse (RN)

    Certifications:

    Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law.

    CPHQ or eligible to take the exam within 2 years of employment.

    Responsibilities:

    Responsible for leading the Quality / Performance Improvement activities across the hospital.

    Integration of the Quality / Performance Program activities for the Medical and Hospital-wide Staff.

    Data management and reporting for Quality / Performance Improvement initiatives.

    Oversight of Quality / Performance Improvement department and staff.

    Responsible for complying with all policies and procedures that pertain to HIPAA including the minimum requirements for the DCQI position.

    Licenses:

    Registered Nurse Preferred, Certified Professional Risk Management Certification and/or Certified Professional Healthcare Quality Certification within 3 years of hire.
