- Support Senior Buyer: Collaborate closely with the Senior Buyer to streamline procurement operations and assist in strategic decision-making.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring clear communication and efficient resolution of any issues that arise.
- Purchase Order Management: Take charge of managing purchase orders from creation to fulfillment, overseeing shipping schedules, and maintaining accurate purchase records.
- Data Entry: Accurately input purchase orders into the company system, ensuring all information is up-to-date and error-free.
- Invoice Reconciliation: Review and reconcile invoices, diligently resolving any discrepancies in pricing or costs to ensure accurate financial records.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with warehouse and accounts payable teams to compare deliveries with purchase orders, identifying and addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a purchasing support role, with preference given to candidates with HVAC or distribution company experience.
- Education: An Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Bilingualism: Fluency in at least two languages is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level is essential for success in this role.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with purchasing functions, inventory management, and supply management systems is highly desirable.
