    Description

    Primary Function

    The primary function of this position is to schedule Quality Assurance and HERS inspections for New Residential Construction clients. This position is responsible for the daily scheduling, dispatching, and certifying of inspections. The Scheduling Coordinator position requires extreme attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written), professional demeanor, organization and time management skills, along with keen critical thinking skills.

    This is a remote and non-exempt position.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Answer all incoming calls, emails, and route to appropriate internal/external recipients.
    • Schedule and dispatch field consultants during the project's construction cycle.
    • Report problems and test failures immediately to jobsite construction managers and contractors.
    • Complete necessary and required paperwork to certify jobs.
    • Update customer files as information is received.
    Qualifications

    Job Requirements:
      • High school diploma or GED.
      • Knowledge of homebuilding industry preferred, but not required.
      • Meticulous, analytical, and highly organized.
      • Highly proficient in Excel, Word, MS Outlook.
      • Comfortable in a data-driven environment with proprietary software and construction database tools.
      • Ability to work within a highly structured (ISO9001) company, but eager to suggest and implement changes that will lead to continuous improvement.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Machines, Tools, and Equipment

    Computer software knowledge: use of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook. Standard office equipment.

    Physical Requirements

    Sitting, standing and walking in an office setting. Lifting up to 30 pounds may be required. Assistance may be requested for lifting more than 35 pounds.

    Standard Work Hours

    Normal business hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm). This position may require more than 40 hours per week including evenings and weekends. Some work will be performed via telecommunications from home. Travel may be required. Vehicle travel on behalf of the company requires possession of a valid driver's license, clean driving record and adequate auto insurance that meets the company's compliance minimums.
