Reports to: SVP, Manufacturing Technology

Summary:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing industrial processes to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity in the factories. The Process Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams (especially the manufacturing plants) to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance production processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and implement industrial processes to improve production efficiency and productivity.
· Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize processes.
· Analyze and evaluate existing processes for needed modifications or improvements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure processes are aligned with business objectives.
· Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
· Develop workflows, workstation, and equipment improvement recommendations in the factories.
· Conduct factory process audits to ensure Altor production equipment is being operated in compliance to prescribed methods, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
· Provide onsite factory technical support to production teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
· Provide training and development to factory associates.
· Identify and implement process improvements to reduce labor, waste, increase yield, and improve quality.
· Develop, upgrade, and maintain process control systems to ensure consistent product quality and machine reliability.
· Identify process equipment automation opportunities and investments. Design and implement systems and equipment procedures.
· As required, participate in new product development projects to ensure processes are designed for manufacturability.
· Performing optimization tests (developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality and manufacturing productivity)
· During analyzing and designing, constantly evaluate and engineer out safety risks in the factories.
· Performance metrics are directly tied to plant(s) metrics.
· Other duties may be assigned.

Education Requirements/Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from an accredited college or university; with minimum of 3 years' experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and control.
· Experience with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
