- The Senior Project Manager will be involved in the planning, management, and completion of IT Infrastructure projects
- The Senior Project Manager will need to travel to various Operation Centers to oversee the replacement of IT Infrastructure at each location
- Must be able to manage multiple projects under tight delivery timelines and budgets
- Must have experience with managing IT Infrastructure projects
- Utilities/Oil & Gas/Energy/Government industry experience is preferred
- This position is 50% Remote/50% Onsite in Chattanooga, TN or Knoxville, TN or Memphis, TN or Nashville, TN or Huntsville, AL
- Assessing the requirements of the project and recommending suitable IT components
- Analyzing different options and recommending the most suitable and economically feasible for the project
- Overseeing execution of work to improve the IT infrastructure of the company
- Recommending upgrades and new systems that will be more useful for the project
- Leading the Joint Project Team (JPT) in identifying technical and critical path dependencies across multiple projects and articulating the impacts to leadership
- Ensuring quality and completeness of cost estimates of IT Infrastructure prepared by the Joint Project Team (JPT)
- Working with Portfolio Analyst to ensure the budget is on track and budget limits are not breached
- Supervising IT staff, consultants, vendors, and suppliers
- Meeting with managers of different departments and assessing IT Infrastructure needs
- Meeting with IT Analysts and finalizing essential IT Infrastructure
- Planning and supervising installation of IT Infrastructure in the company
- Making sure the Infrastructure Development project is completed within the given time frame
- 5-7+ years of Information Technology (IT) Project Management experience
- Must have experience with managing IT Infrastructure projects
- Experience with managing IT Infrastructure Replacement projects is preferred
- Knowledge of several of the following is helpful: Windows OS, servers, data storage and backup, network technologies, physical site connectivity, and failover impacts; Federal and NERC compliance for critical infrastructure environments; plant operations/systems, such as Maximo, P6, eSOMS, and electricity management systems
- Experience with managing multiple projects under tight delivery timelines and budgets
- Experience with MS Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps Server for scheduling and resource planning
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred; equivalent real-world work experience will be considered
- Utilities/Oil & Gas/Energy/Government industry experience is preferred
- PMP/CISSP/CSM/CSPO/ITIL Certifications are preferred
- Military experience is a plus
- Strategic and thought leadership arm supporting the CIO and business agenda as well as the execution teams delivering services and efficiencies within the PMO
- Drives the modernization of Digital Services, such as Cloud, Advanced Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Management, and Data Governance
