- Monday-Thursday work week working four 10hour days

- Perform RT inspections on a variety of materials and components
- Interpret and evaluate radiographic images to identify defects and irregularities
- Perform X-Ray process control both on film and digital
- Generate reports detailing inspection results
- Perform other NDT inspections, primarily in RT and LT methods with some PT
- Prepare to inspect product by interpreting blueprints, data, and manuals to determine specifications, inspections and testing procedures
- Review paperwork to ensure completion and accuracy of all documents including, MIL-STD1916 sampling size, First Articles, certificate of analysis, and conformity among others
- Inspect product to verify conformance to specification of the parts by measuring dimensions using instruments such as gauges, calipers, comparators micrometers, optical comparator, etc.
- Perform First Article inspections as required
- Actively participate in Daily Visual Management activities and communicate with the Quality Engineering team to problem solve
- Generate and perform verification activities on Non-Conforming Material and discrepancy reports
- Complies with all Quality Procedures and Policies
- HS Diploma / GED and 25 years of relevant inspection experience is required
- Current NDT Level 2 certification in Radiography per NAS410 or SNT-TC1A is required
- Provide documentation of education, training, and experience in the applicable NDT method
- Strong knowledge of radiographic testing techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Ability to obtain BATF approval to work with NDS products
