- Provide recommendations to the customer on suitable contract types for Research and Development projects aimed at developing cutting-edge technologies.
- Assist the customer in conducting Market Research related to different areas of interest.
- Support the customer in establishing contracts and the necessary documentation, including Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposals (RFP).
- Aid the customer in evaluating proposals from various providers for Research and Development endeavors.
- Bachelor's degree (in Business Development, Contracts, or a related field)
- Over 8 years of experience in Federal government contracting
- DAWIA Level III certification or equivalent professional certification
- More than 5 years of IC experience
- Proficiency in contracting procedures, types, and methods, encompassing formal advertising, negotiation, fixed-price, grants, and cost contracting.
- Familiarity with cost and price procedures for evaluating offers and contractor responsibility, based on competition, historical costs, auditor reports, or other evaluation criteria.
- Experience in Market Research development, Request for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposal (RFP)
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies in federal contracting, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the IARPA Government agency acquisition process.
- Master's degree
- Over 12 years of experience in Federal government contracting
- Familiarity with the Grants process
