    Lead Patient Care Assistant Job Description

    An exciting opportunity awaits you to be part of Maryhaven, the leading behavioral services provider in Central Ohio with a focus on addiction recovery. We are seeking individuals with exceptional skills and a compassionate nature to join our dedicated team. Established in 1953, Maryhaven is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, initially catering to women in need of substance abuse recovery. Upholding the values of quality care and respect for all individuals, we are in search of a Lead Patient Care Assistant (PCA). Reporting to the Manager of Homeless Programs, the Lead PCA will be responsible for recruiting, training, overseeing, and assessing all PCAs within the program. Additionally, they will organize staff schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage, while also being well-versed in all PCA duties to provide comprehensive training. This role will involve participation in on-call duties after hours and oversight of safety protocols at the Engagement Center.

    Lead Patient Care Assistant Requirements

    • Associate degree in a relevant field is preferred
    • High school diploma or equivalent is required
    • Preferably trained and certified in law enforcement, correctional, or security settings
    • At least three years of experience in a related field is desirable
    • CDCA certification or equivalent is advantageous

    Compensation details: $21-21 Hourly Wage
