- Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment in a leadership role
- Minimum of 2 years' prior successful supervisory experience, in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Prior experience with an ERP system (Oracle strongly preferred)
- Prior experience both utilizing and analyzing Microsoft Excel data.
- Ability and willingness to lift and move at least 20 pounds
- Ability and willingness to work OT, as required.
- Experience with ERP, Oracle, warehouse software
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible
- Eagerness to learn

Job Title/High Level Position Summary: The Distribution Supervisor on first shift will oversee the operations, customer service, administration, and systems within a distribution center. Responsible, but not limited to, overseeing receiving, international operations, help-desk functions, returns processing, and inventory control. Uses computerized systems to monitor stock levels, fulfills customer orders, ships, and delivers merchandise to customer warehouse, wholesale, or retail outlets. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse. Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review. Directs subordinates on predetermined work assignments which are completed using established guidelines, procedures, and policies. Supervises employees and may perform similar work as their subordinates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all indirect operations and personnel within the Distribution Center
* Direct resources as needed and perform effective handoffs from/to other shifts
* Ensure that team members are trained across functions both for shift coverage as needed, and for long-term strategic planning
* Ensure all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed safely, appropriately and according to schedule, including but not limited to; planning, distribution, reception, and storage of inventory
* Responsible for staffing; interviewing, selecting, developing, and training new employees to ensure safe and efficient operations
* Manage attendance, tardiness and monitor employee behavior and performance
* Direct subordinates on predetermined work assignments which are completed using established guidelines, policies, and procedures
* Set and monitor individual and team goals and metrics
* Approve timesheets, PTO, and review employees using Workday
* Abide and enforce federal, state, and company safety regulations
* Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesiveness and product is shipped in a timely manner
* Produce reports and statistics appropriate to dept. and shift
* Perform other duties, as required
