Description

Asbury Park is looking for a skilled coder / case manager (m/f/d) to join our team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Accompanying coding of diagnoses and procedures in compliance with current coding guidelines and recommendations, as well as releasing cases for billing
Participation in interdisciplinary case discussions
Close collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to optimize documentation of billing-relevant facts and case management within the DRG / PEPP system
Processing of inquiries from payers and the Medical Service (MD), including correspondence and participation in on-site inspections

YOUR PROFILE
Training as a health and nursing professional (m/f/d) with practical experience or equivalent
Completed further training as a coding specialist (m/f/d) desirable
Knowledge and experience in documenting relevant findings and procedures
Good understanding of clinical processes
Proficient in MS Office and common grouping software, or willingness to learn
Good manners, teamwork and commitment, as well as independent and structured work
