Position ResponsibilitiesWelds metal objects together by means of an arc welder (MIG and/or TIG) welder Setup and operation of production equipment.
Check quality of parts when function complete. Use of jigs, fixtures, dies, punches and clamps. Fabrication of metal shapes or articles. Repair broken or cracked metal objects. Maintains the work area and equipment daily in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the group team leader. Position RequirementsWelding certification Ability to read blueprints, drawings and welding symbols.Ability to read gauges and tape measure Ability to use a square, with ability to understand and measure anglesKnowledge of Kan Ban system preferable Knowledge of power and/or air tool use Knowledge of deburring process and techniques Ability to read, write and communicate in English with work instructions, computer screens, safety and training materials A commitment to work the scheduled hoursAbility to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check Salary: $22.00- $25 per hourExpected hours: 40-53 per week We Make it EasyFounded in 1901, MRA is a nonprofit employer association that serves more than 4,000 employers, covering more than one million employees.
