    Live-In Caregiver / Resident Manager/Developmental Disabilities Adult Foster Care Home.

    Must live in Eugene/Springfield area to apply.

    We're currently seeking a Resident Manager (Live-In Caregiver) to join our team at our Adult Foster Home in Oregon. The Resident Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and care of our residents. This position requires on-site residency and entails working 4 consecutive days followed by 3 days off. This position involves living on-site and overseeing daily operations within the residential facility.
    One of the significant advantages of this role is the provision of rent-free on-site accommodation, which includes a spacious master bedroom and covers utility expenses.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Resident Care:
      • Provide direct care and support to residents with developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and behavioral support.
      • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and support teams.
      • Foster a supportive and empowering environment that promotes independence, dignity, and social inclusion.
    2. Facility Management:
      • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential facility, including maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
      • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and licensing requirements related to developmental disabilities services.
      • Coordinate with external service providers, healthcare professionals, and community resources to meet the diverse needs of residents.
    3. Staff Supervision and Training:
      • Recruit, train, and supervise direct support staff to ensure the provision of high-quality care and services.
      • Provide ongoing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities for staff members.
      • Foster a positive work culture that values teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
    4. Documentation and Reporting:
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, documentation, and reports related to resident care, incidents, and program activities.
      • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, services, and support plans, making adjustments as needed.
      • Communicate regularly with administrative staff, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to provide updates on resident progress and program outcomes.

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including supervisory or managerial experience.
    • Strong knowledge of developmental disabilities services, best practices, and person-centered approaches.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including residents, families, staff, and community partners.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and resident needs.
    • Current certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
