About the job: Our Master Data Management team is seeking an IDQ Developer with a focus on data management, data quality, and data governance. This role is crucial as we continue our transformation to SAP.

Responsibilities:

Translate functional requirements into technical requirements, and develop these into code and interfaces for our Global Business Services Team.
Profile source data to determine all source data and metadata characteristics.
Design and execute data quality mappings to cleanse, de-duplicate, and prepare project data.
Implement data quality processes, including transliteration, parsing, analysis, standardization, and enrichment in both point of entry and batch modes.
Document all mappings, mapplets, and rules in detail and hand over documentation to the customer.
Collaborate with various business and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules, propose optimizations if applicable, and design and develop these rules with IDQ.
Utilize Informatica Developer and Informatica Analyst to design and develop custom objects and rules, reference data tables, and create/import/export mappings.
Perform thorough data profiling with multiple usage patterns, conduct root cause analysis and data cleansing, and develop scorecards using Informatica, Excel, and other data quality tools.
Develop matching plans, determine the best matching algorithm, configure identity matching, and analyze duplicates.
Build complex profiles and scripts to execute and test mappings and workflows to implement data stewardship and exception processing.
Run data quality specific ETL jobs utilizing IDQ.
Participate in the improvement of the master data management process and support transactional systems and processes.
Write shell-scripts to invoke mappings or workflows.
Write SQL queries and verify the results.
Deploy and validate objects to different environments.
Write test scenarios, perform unit tests, and verify the end results with business requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) toolset (Version 10.x preferred).
Proficiency in IDQ development around data profiling, cleansing, parsing, standardization, verification, matching, and data quality exception monitoring and handling.
Experience with Data Quality, ETL, and Data Integration in a mature data environment.
Experience in SQL development.
Prior experience in defect analysis and bug fixes.
