Overview:
Zimmer Communications is growing We are looking to add a new social media manager to our Columbia team.

The social media manager would be responsible for strategically growing Zimmer clients' social media audience and engagement alongside our social media team.

Social Media is fun and we have fun doing it Our Social Media Team is able to be creative and have fun while helping our clients grow with this creative marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:
Manage, train, and lead a team of 2 other social media specialists and interns as needed.
Work with the director of sales to set department revenue growth objectives.

Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identificationGenerate, edit, and publish daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take actionModerate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community, when applicable.

Create editorial calendars and syndication schedulesContinuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the informationCollaborate with client to go over analytics and finalize strategy for social platforms.

Work with Zimmer properties to help grow our brands and train our associatesRequirements:

Extensive knowledge of the following platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and TikTokExtensive experience with paid social media buying Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialistExcellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skillsDemonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledgePositive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational abilityVideo production experienced is preferredBS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public RelationsCompensation/Benefits:Excellent benefits including a 401K, medical packages including optional dental and vision.
