What you will do:

Responsibility for the management and optimization of the finance, controlling, and IT/ERP system areas
Disciplinary and professional leadership of the commercial team
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements as well as forecasts
Development of monthly internal and external reporting, as well as variance analyses to initiate necessary controlling measures
Ensuring comprehensive, consistent, and meaningful financial and budget planning in coordination with management
Preparation of financing and investment calculations, cash flow planning, and actual vs. target analyses
Development and implementation of cost optimization projects
Sparring partner for departments and executives
Internal and external contact for auditors, banks, and tax consultants

What you bring:

Successfully completed degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on finance and tax law, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in a management position in the areas of finance, accounting, and controlling
Solid knowledge of accounting
Knowledge of commercial, tax, and grant law
Good knowledge of DATEV, database applications, and MS Office
IT and numbers affinity
