    Primary Functions

    Builds and maintains consulting partnerships with assigned internal clients to develop and implement marketing communications strategies and tactics that meet business objectives.

    Evaluates incoming marketing requests and collaborates with internal clients to develop responsive and customer-service oriented solutions, while aligning to overall marketing and business objectives.

    Develops and implements outlined marketing and communications strategies that walks alongside customers in their engagement journey from awareness to consideration, purchase and loyalty.

    Tactics include social media posts, website copy and landing pages, email marketing, newsletters, internal communications, and other tactics as needed.

    Proactively builds relationships throughout the organization to encourage and identify storytelling opportunities.

    Educates internal contacts on what makes a good story and how to best collaborate with the marketing team to collect, develop and share stories that support our content strategies and business objectives.

    Makes significant contributions to overall marketing and communications strategy development. Measures and monitors effectiveness and ROI of marketing efforts, especially social media. Makes data-driven recommendations for next steps.
    Proactively identifies opportunities and issues related to marketing, communications, team and company functions and processes. Proposes and activates thoughtful solutions for addressing them.

    Social Media:
    Manages Heartspring social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn with approval of the Director.

    This involves the following responsibilities:


    Creates and manages social media content strategy and calendar, which includes identifying and developing stories that tell our brand story and connect with potential and existing clients.

    Creates and posts original content in a variety of formats: videos/reels, photos, graphics and text. All content resonates with Heartspring's key audience personas and aligns with our brand voice and standards.
    Builds relationships throughout the organization to encourage and identify storytelling opportunities.

    Educates internal contacts on what makes a good story and how to best collaborate with the marketing team to collect, develop and share stories that support our business objectives.

    Optimizes posts for performance tied to business and marketing objectives. Monitors and reports on effectiveness and progress towards measurable objectives.

    Engages with and responds to followers, commentors and those who reach out with direct messages in a timely manner, consistent with company messaging and policies.

    Builds and fosters community in these channels.
    Create and execute influencer marketing strategies. Find, vet and partner with influencers on campaigns that support our business objectives.
    Ensures account profiles are supportive to marketing objectives and connect customers with key calls to action.
    Creates and implements paid social campaigns with limited agency support.

    Helps evaluate and makes recommendations for expansion (or not) into other social media channels, including TikTok and future channels as they emerge.

    Stays on top of continually evolving best practices and trends in social media management and within each channel. Applies this knowledge in alignment with our brand voice and standards.
    Requirements
    Educational, Training, and Licensure Requirements

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in integrated marketing, strategic communications, public relations or equivalent preferred

    Experience:
    Minimum three (3) years of experience in a marketing communications role with significant social media management responsibility
    Physical Requirements
    Sitting at a desk for long periods of time.
    Constant use of overall vision with continuous reading and close-up work.
    Hand and finger dexterity for frequent repetitive writing, typing, grasping, reaching, and pulling.
    Hearing and talking skills in person and on the phone.
    Knowledge & Skills
    Superior knowledge of how to effectively leverage social media channels to meet business objectives – Channels include Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok
    Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
    Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    Excellent iPhone photography and video skills
    Excellent video editing skills for social media
    Excellent team collaboration skills
    Strong ability to confidently interact with a variety of contacts and stakeholders
    Basic graphic design skills
    Strong ability to appropriately handle confidential and protected health information
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong public speaking skills
    Ability/willingness to comfortably communicate and interact well with people of all ages, diverse backgrounds and neurodiverse individuals
    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn digital tools and platforms
    Self-motivated; bias for thoughtful action
    Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
    Work Environment

    Office environment, indoors, climate controlled
    Potential exposure to infectious disease, parasites, bodily fluids, and blood-borne pathogens
    Potential exposure to physical contact from students, including slapping, hitting, punching, kicking, head-butting, and biting
    Occasional exposure to all weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow/ice
    Salary Description
    $50,035 - $75,000, DOQ
