We are looking for a library or educational professional to lead and manage our collection development team and provide support to our sales representatives and our school and library customers across the country.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and inspire a team of library and educational specialists
  • Lead, organize, and streamline projects
  • Provide guidance, training, and feedback to staff
  • Handle internal and external communications effectively
  • Manage and cultivate customer relationships to maximize satisfaction and business growth
  • Create and provide presentations to sales reps and customers
  • Read and review children's & teen titles
  • Curate custom book collections based on customer requests and needs
  • Provide content and product knowledge to sales reps and customers
  • Schedule and attending publisher meetings

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Education preferred
  • Library, bookselling, or educational background preferred
  • Knowledge of children's and young adult books
  • Ability to thrive under deadlines, exhibiting flexibility and initiative
  • Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks concurrently and under deadlines
  • Self-Motivator with a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
