Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required by the time of hire.

Minimum Experience:
Six (6) years of experience in data architecture. Each 30 hours of college coursework can be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in SQL query writing.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.


Responsibilities:

Accountable for designing the overall enterprise data architecture.

  • Develop data information architecture that aligns with the enterprise architecture, balancing accessibility with security and performance needs.

Establish standards, policies, and procedures for data and information architecture within the University, defining the structure, attributes, and naming conventions of data elements and applying recognized data content standards to technology projects.

Ensure consistency in business analysis, data acquisition, and access analysis and design.

Optimize database management systems, implement strategies for archiving, recovery, loading, security, and change management at the enterprise level.

Create a metadata management strategy to handle all project artifacts of enterprise information architecture.
Identify, oversee, and utilize existing data and information assets across the enterprise.


Benefits:

Starting salary at $76,000/yr, subject to adjustments based on experience.
