Enrollment Coordinator - Student Financial Services Center (REOPENED & REVISED)


POSITION DETAILS
Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Student Financial Services Call Center, the Enrollment Coordinator

will assist with the coordination of department operations, activities and special projects in the Student

Financial Services Center.

In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the duties of the Enrollment Coordinator include but are not


limited to:

  • Coordinate the implementation of the Student Financial Services integrated communications plan.
  • Manage outreach calls to students with balances and outstanding financial aid documentation.
  • Coordinate outreach with important deadlines and policy information.
  • Serve as a liaison to other student services offices that interact with the Student Financial Services Call Center.
  • Provide information and assist students with the usage of online services and systems.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of parttime staff in the Student Financial Services Call Center.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of a crosstraining plan for Student Financial Services.
  • Support the development of customer service training for the Student Financial Services staff.
  • Assist with the implementation of technology solutions such as a chatbot and EAB.
  • Assist with the coordination of the Center's staffing schedule in collaboration with the offices of the Bursar and Financial Aid.
  • Monitor and update content for the SFS Website, InfoCentral, and related social media pages as necessary.
  • Prepare reports related to student services.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.

Must be able to work some evening and weekend hours.


Preferred Qualifications- Excellent organizational, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills required.- Ability to work in a team
- oriented environment is essential.
  • Experience in Financial Aid, preferably in Higher Education setting.
  • Knowledge or Experience in oracle based systems (CUNYfirst Campus Solutions).
  • Detail oriented.

Supports student enrollment activities and processing.- Provides direct student services and works collaboratively with other units to support registration, payment, and related activities- Conducts workshops on enrollment management services and processes- Counsels students, staff and faculty on academic registration, admissions, testing, and related processing- Manages student information databases and resolves issues with student records and transactions- Ensures compliance with college, Federal, and New York State regulations and policies- Creates and updates content for web pages, bulletins, and other media to ensure effective communications to students and campus community- May supervise clerical and/or part-time staff and coordinate work schedules- Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$46,103 - $49,960; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
