    Description

    My client is a large law firm in Denver searching for a professional legal secretary to handle various administrative and secretarial tasks to support attorneys. The main tasks include attending court proceedings, conducting case research, scheduling meetings, and organizing legal documents.

    The ideal candidate should be a skilled written and verbal communicator, as well as polite and professional. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of legal procedures and terminology.


    Salary: $69,500 to $95,000

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide secretarial support to lawyers at the firm.
    • Review all legal documents for accuracy.
    • Manage attorney calendars and schedule appointments.
    • Greet clients and screen new clients.
    • Attend court proceedings and take notes.
    • Organize and update legal documents.
    • Ensure timely filing of court documents.
    • Handle emails and phone calls, redirecting when necessary.
    • Conduct research on case details.
    • Prepare various legal documents such as appeals and motions.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum 5 years of legal administrative experience.
    • Preferably experienced in labor and employment law.
    • Highly organized with the ability to support multiple attorneys.
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
    • Proactive in managing tasks related to case deadlines.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in document management systems.
    • Knowledgeable in legal terminology.
