    Description

    The Pilates Instructor is responsible for providing various Pilates training services (utilizing apparatus such as reformer, towers, chairs and mat) that offers members programs to maximize workout efficiency, improve fitness, increase stamina, enjoy their fitness experience and improve overall sense of well-being.

    Pilates Instructors attend team meetings, educational workshops and all other Personal Training department activities.

    Develops safe, professional and comprehensive Pilates training programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals
    Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
    Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
    Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
    Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
    Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan
    Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends

    High School Diploma or GED
    ~1 year of Pilates teaching experience
    ~ hours comprehensive Pilates Certificate (minimum education to include; For the first 8 full weeks of employment, this position will pay an hourly wage of $16.00 and will be eligible for unit pay equivalent to $30 minus the applicable minimum wage for services. After 8 full weeks of employment, this position will be paid on a commission basis tied to performance goals.
