We need a daytime teacher at this time - 40 hours for the PCA course and 80 hours for the HHA Course, 9am-4pm, _

Must be able to teach the trainees on both theory and skills according to the NYSDOH/BPSS curriculum for HHA/PCA training

Keep records for each trainee according to the requirements of BPSS and works with the Director regarding overall compliance.

Be able to motivate trainees on the importance of being a Home Care professional and the responsibilities that the role requires

Works with the School Directors and Agents to ensure that the school meets all its objectives

Carries out HHA/PCA Orientation and ensures that all graduates are ready for the workforce

Be compassionate regarding the capabilities of each trainee and the level/speed at which each trainee learns.


Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with a Current License
• Must have at least 2 year's hand on healthcare experience
• Must have patience and work well with people
• A current NY BPSS Teachers License/permit is preferred (We will assist with acquiring if not)
• A very strong team player

Job Types:
Part-time, Per diem


Pay:
$45.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

• RN (required)
