    ABOUT CTS CYBERSECURITY You will be an innovator in the Cybersecurity division of Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS). ) This division specializes in offering Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and subscription-based security solutions to large enterprises and the federal government.

    Join our dynamic Platform Engineering Team, where we harness cutting-edge technologies like AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, SonarQube, & CI/CD automation to drive innovation and efficiency in our infrastructure.

    As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll lead the change in architecting and implementing scalable solutions, setting us apart in the market with your expertise in cloud-native technologies and automation.

    With exciting initiatives like optimizing deployment pipelines, streamlining robust developer environments, enhancing infrastructure as code practices, and spearheading Kubernetes orchestration, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform, empowering our teams to deliver value to our customers faster and more reliably than ever before.

    Job Responsibilities:


    Design, implement, and manage advanced CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, with a focus on automating code validation, testing, and deployment processes across multiple environments.


    Develop and maintain a self-service, robust developer platform, utilizing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, enabling developers to deploy and scale their applications autonomously.


    Implement secure deployment practices, including infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management, compliance checks, secrets management, network security controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.


    Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions, utilizing tools like DataDog, Grafana, Fluentd, or ELK stack to proactively identify and address performance issues and bottlenecks along with collect, analyze, and visualize metrics & logs, and optimize resource utilization.


    Utilize infrastructure-as-code principles, and tools like Terraform to define and provision infrastructure resources in AWS cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.


    Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters using infrastructure-as-code methodologies, configuring advanced features like network policies, pod security policies, pod autoscaling, rolling updates, and custom resource definitions to optimize containerized application deployments, performance, and availability.


    Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and hands-on training in areas such as automation, infrastructure design, and cloud-native technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.


    Requirements:


    Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting, along with expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration concepts.

    Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS resources.

    Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.


    Solid understanding of secure deployment practices, including code signing, secrets management, least privilege access controls, infrastructure hardening, and encryption techniques.

    Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.

    Experience with scripting and programming languages, such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, & GoLang.

    Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, and VPC networking.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and collaborate with junior engineers.


    Nice to Have:
    Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar are a plus.
