- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current, unrestricted license to practice as a professional
- Registered Nurse in Missouri. BSN preferred.
- Possesses good written and oral communication skills. Must be certified in CPR and able to perform CPR in a realistic setting, i.e. on the floor. Competent physical assessment skills. Knowledge of computer based programs is preferred. Knowledgeable of HIPAA regulations and maintenance of strict confidentiality in regard to personal health information of others.
- Minimum 1-3 years current nurse experience, background in emergency care preferred but not required. strong pediatric psychiatry a plus. Pediatrics or ICU/ EU experience preferred
- Medically attends to ill or injured children and staff.
- Identifies and treats common physical conditions of childhood, adolescence and adulthood. Able to perform Adult and/or Child CPR (for elementary and preschool nurses) in a realistic setting and skilled in the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
