    Summary:
    Seeking a Structural Design Engineer with extensive experience in designing structures to support piping and equipment in the Power and Process industry, utilizing Staad Pro or Risa 3D.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a focus on Structural Design
    • 5+ years of experience in designing industrial structures and performing structural analysis using computer software
    • 5+ years of experience in connection design
    • Proficiency with Codes and Standards applicable in the USA (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 341, AISC 358, AISC 360, ACI 318, AWS D1.1)
    • Experience with structural steel fabrication requirements, material selections, and fabrication specifications writing
    • Experience with structural steel materials standards (AISC, ASTM, EN, GB, JIS)

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with Eurocode
    • Experience with Bentley STAAD or Risa 3D
    • Experience in the Power and Process industry
    • Familiarity with Bentley Open Plant

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Support the conceptual design of structures, platforms, and pipe supports using drafting and 3D design tools
    • Develop structural design criteria for standard and project-specific designs
    • Perform structural analysis for gas turbine enclosures, pipe racks, and pipe supports, including common analysis of piping and structures
    • Design welded and bolted connections
    • Issue structural drawings for project-specific applications
    • Review, control, and own structural 3D models
    • Write technical specifications as required
    Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
