    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standardbproduction rate and improve efficiency.

    Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.

    Responsible for supporting production processes and machines.

    Works as part of a team of engineers that develop and maintain manufacturing processes

    Assist machine operators with machine faults, recoveries, and setups

    Responsible for documenting process changes

    Maintain engineering documentation: Control plans, Tool lists, etc.

    Troubleshoot and correct causes for nonconforming parts

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelors in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent degree with 1+ years of experience is preferred OR

    Associate degree with 3+ years" of experience OR

    8+ years" experience in lieu of education

    Experience with CNC machining

    Experience with indicating a tool/part

    Demonstrated problem solving capability

    Must be self-motivated and must be able to hold themselves accountable

    Must have situational awareness and emotional intelligence

    Ability to listen and to follow direction and ask for help when/if needed

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    G-code writing capability

    Experience with precision grinding and/or honing

    CAM experience
