Global mold manufacturer, & supplier, in the NW Suburbs of Chicago, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to join their family centered culture.

With over a half century of service to their customers, being committed to continuous improvement, and offering a "one stop shop" (product design to shipping the final product),

they are

high tech mold-makers.

Responsibilities:
Partner with production supervisors, engineering, program managers and other support staff to conceptualize, research, and implement new ideas, process, and technologies
Create SOP and Work Instructions on new equipment
Provide guidance on quoting for new processes, (post mold)
Review OEE, Labor and Process efficiency, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead continuous improvement projects
Provide training and insights to junior employees for the betterment of the individual and the company

Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
2-3 years experience in plastic injection molding, preferred
Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and equipment

Pay: 70k-110k (depending on experience)
