- Serve as a senior Clinician and Team Leader with the B.H. Case Management unit, and assists other programs as needed.
- Perform complex assessments, treatment planning, clinical interventions, consultation, and authorization of treatment.
- Provide high level clinical services to adults with mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
- Facilitate a multi-disciplinary staff treatment team,
- Perform quality assurance functions and reviews/authorizes the medical necessity of services for clients in the MHSS and other collateral programs.
- Provide direct supervision to Behavioral Health Case Managers and consults with Case Management Supervisor.
- Provide guidance and leadership to team members who provide case management services for consumers in the community, consumers in jail, and consumers recently released from the hospital.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with all DBHDS Licensure, Medicaid and CARF requirements.
- Assist with the implementation, monitoring and follow up on case management service standards.
- Attend client staffing meetings related to crisis situations as necessary.
- Provide clinical documentation and assures that all filing of clinical information and submission of billing information are done accurately and within the time frame required.
