Pfarrverband München-Obergiesing is looking to fill the position of a


Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

(Part-time, 30 hours/week)
Our Pfarrverband consists of three parishes: Heilig Kreuz (headquarters of the Pfarrverband), Königin des Friedens, and St. Helena.


Your responsibilities:


  • Accounting for two parishes of the Pfarrverband (including the sponsoring foundation)
  • Administration and settlement of scholarships, collections, donations, and ongoing expenses and revenues related to parish activities
  • Processing of electronic payments
  • Preparation of heating and utility cost statements for rented properties
  • Assistance in the preparation of annual financial statements and budget planning and monitoring

Your profile:


  • Completed commercial training or a comparable education in the administrative field, as well as relevant professional experience
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and proper bookkeeping
  • Willingness to work responsibly and independently
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Teamwork, loyalty, and discretion
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and accounting software (ideally MachWeb)
  • Identification with the goals and values of the Catholic Church
