My Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code) and close collaboration with the commercial managing director
  • Coordination and management of the accounting team (four employees)
  • Preparation of internal monthly reporting
  • Active involvement in daytoday operations (general ledger and fixed asset accounting, tax matters, payment transactions, intercompany reconciliation, etc.)
  • First point of contact for tax consultants and auditors
  • Support in annual budget planning

My Qualifications

  • Completed relevant vocational training in the financial field (IHK certified accountant preferred)
  • Solid professional experience (as a manager) in accounting
  • Proficient in using DATEV as a financial accounting system (HGB)
  • Familiar with tax topics (especially value added tax)
  • Knowledge of consolidation is an advantage, experience with LucaNet is desirable
  • Experience with data migrations is a plus
