Based on these insights, formulate strategic recommendations aimed at optimizing costs, enhancing revenue, and improving overall financial health.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of the company's financial performance, comparing it with historical figures and forward-looking forecasts. Utilize a range of analytical tools and techniques to uncover variances, understand their root causes, and assess their impact on the business. Have the ability to influence business decisions leveraging data analytics.
- Craft and deliver compelling financial narratives to senior management and board members, influencing key strategic decisions and aligning financial strategy with corporate objectives.
- FP&A Strategy and IPO Preparation: Create and execute on the FP&A strategy that supports the organization's growth and culminates with a successful IPO. Collaborate with the controller to lay the groundwork for IPO readiness.
- Financial Health and KPI Management: Own financial health metrics, including the development of non-GAAP metrics, tracking SLAs, and key weekly benchmarks
- Competitive Compensation Framework: Develop a compensation framework by benchmarking against other industry and SaaS competitors to ensure competitive positioning and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA highly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the technology or cybersecurity sectors.
- Proven experience in leading a company through the IPO process, with a thorough understanding of the regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
- Experience in the Cyber-security and SaaS industries
- Experience working in a fast growth private company in series C or above
