    Job Description:We are seeking a highly capable Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to help our healthcare providers in the management of patients with vascular conditions. In this role, you will be obtaining patient information, conducting vascular ultrasound examinations, and providing high quality ultrasound images. This position is perfect for the individual who wishes to work 2 or 3 days per week (Monday through Thursday, 8 to 4:30 pm or Friday 8 to 12 noon). We are flexible in providing the hours that work best for you, but there will not be any evenings, weekends, or holidays. If you are a person who wants to keep their skills but doesn't want the commitment of working in a hospital, this job is for you. If you are a person who is currently working as an RVT at a hospital and wishes to pick up extra hours, this job is ideal for you.

    To ensure success, vascular technologists should possess solid knowledge of ultrasound technologies and have demonstrable experience in a similar role. A top-notch candidate will be someone whose ultrasound examination skills translate into accurate diagnoses of vascular diseases and disorders.

    Bloomfield Vein & Vascular is an Outpatient Lab, a private office that focuses on patients with peripheral arterial disease and venous disease. The position does not require you to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and you will never be on call. Unlike the hospital, where your work is often under-appreciated and you are just one of many employees, our office consists of a small group of individuals who are respected and appreciated, and all work together for the benefit of the patient.

    We provide a comfortable working environment and state-of-the-art equipment. We can offer a competitive hourly wage, you will always have time for lunch, and we close at noon on Friday so that you can get a jump start on your weekend. Because we are a small office and this job is only part-time, we are unable to offer medical insurance or PTO. However, we do offer a 401K plan.

    Vascular Technologist Responsibilities:
    • Explaining ultrasound procedures to patients.
    • Preparing and providing summarized ultrasound findings in a timely manner.
    • Comparing patients' previous scans to the most recent scan and assessing diagnostic information.

    Vascular Technologist Requirements:
    • State-licensed Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
    • A minimum of 1 year experience as an RVT.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    About Bloomfield Vein & Vascular, PLLC:

    I opened Bloomfield Vein & Vascular (BVV) in July 2015. It was the first Office Based Lab (OBL) in Southeast Michigan run by a board certified Vascular Surgeon. We provide arterial and venous care to patients, without the constraints of the hospital. We have grown since 2015 and we now need additional personnel who can complement our team. We want to provide our patients with contemporary, comprehensive vascular care in a welcoming office setting.
