    OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION

    A professional who thrives in a team environment and excels in communication. Must possess strong organizational skills and critical thinking abilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at providing training and motivation to their team, maintaining a positive attitude, and demonstrating a proactive work ethic. Responsibilities include:
    • Providing courteous and professional service consistently
    • Resolving guest and internal customer inquiries efficiently
    • Maintaining positive relationships with guests and colleagues
    • Organizing the kitchen section effectively for productivity
    • Ensuring consistent preparation of dishes
    • Monitoring food quality and minimizing waste
    • Supporting culinary associates in honing their skills
    • Upholding sanitation standards in the kitchen
    • Maintaining equipment and kitchen cleanliness
    • Supporting the company's values and culture characteristics
    • Ensuring guest satisfaction and appreciating diversity
    • Resolving guest issues professionally
    • Maintaining confidentiality and security of data and documents

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Experience: Minimum of three years of culinary/kitchen management experience in 5-star hotels, luxury hotels, or high-end restaurants.

    Education: High school diploma required; culinary certificate preferred.

    • Ability to understand and fulfill guest service needs

    Technical Skills:

    • Financial report interpretation
    • Leadership and team management abilities
    • Flexible work schedule and excellent communication skills

    Language: Proficient in English, fluency in other languages preferred.

    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds, endure physical movements, and communicate effectively

    Licenses & Certifications: Safety food or HACCP certification preferred.

    Salary: $32.45 per hour
