- Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. CFA certification is advantageous.
- Proficient in FAS 1 level financial products
- Understanding of global markets
- 2-5+ years of experience in capital markets operations
- Effective communication with trading and software development teams
- Interest in post-trade infrastructure
- Preference for dynamic work environment and handling diverse responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, particularly in Look-ups, Pivot Tables, and Conditional Statements
- Knowledge of Python, VBA, Tableau, or SQL is beneficial
- Buy-side experience is a positive addition
- Experience with task management tools like JIRA is advantageous
- Assist in clearing and settlement procedures for numerous daily trades spanning Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, Commodities, and Crypto
- Confirm trades, reduce operational risks, and enhance straight through processing
- Perform daily reconciliation of internal data with brokers on positions, trades, cash, NAV, and fees
- Investigate discrepancies highlighted by trading desks, departments, and counterparties
- Create Business Intelligence reports using Tableau on operational tasks for senior management
- Manage and navigate data such as security master within systems to address and investigate discrepancies
- Cultivate relationships with brokers to resolve daily discrepancies and enhance long-term processes
- Collaborate with external software vendors to address current processes and suggest enhancements
- Address and resolve specific queries promptly
- Identify areas for enhancement, define requirements, and support automation implementation
